My mission is to help you connect deeply to yourself and the world around you

Hello. I’m jen

Throughout my life, I’ve been on a search for deeper meaning and connection. From a young age, I often wondered, “Why am I here?” and “What is the point?” Growing up as a dancer, performing ballet, modern, jazz, and tap, I felt connected to moving my body but struggled with an overwhelming amount of judgment and self-criticism. Over time, I began to suffer from performance anxiety to the point where dancing lost its sense of expression and joy.

My journey with yoga began during college while studying Dance. I was introduced to Ashtanga and Bikram yoga practices. The structured methods and discipline of these styles deeply resonated with me. I loved how yoga created balance in my body and calm in my mind. This experience sparked a curiosity to dive deeper into the philosophy of yoga and fully embody the practice in my daily life.

Certified to teach at Kripalu School of Yoga in 2013, I now have over 1,000 hours of advanced training. My specializations include meditation, breathwork, yoga therapy, anatomy, restorative yoga, Yin yoga, and Thai massage.

I am currently an M.A. candidate in Yoga Studies at Loyola Marymount University and have deepened my practice through research studies in India.

As a mindfulness coach and holistic athlete, I’ve partnered with Nike to inspire others to connect mind, body, and spirit.

When I teach classes or work with clients one-on-one, I draw on a range of modalities and life experiences including:

  • Kripalu Yoga

  • Meditation

  • Strength and Conditioning

  • Restorative Yoga

  • Yoga Philosophy

  • Pilates

  • Yoga Therapy & Anatomy

  • Ashtanga Yoga

  • Acrobatics & Thai massage

My Yoga journey

I first discovered yoga in college while studying dance at Rutgers University. Yoga was prescribed by my dance teachers as a way to build strength and stability in overly mobile joints. However it wasn’t love at first sight, there were many aspects of the practice I thought were pointless or just boring. Yet overtime, yoga became an essential tool to overcome personal obstacles within myself. Today my goal is to share the life-changing power of yoga to help others live a more fulfilling life.

I believe passionately that yoga contains transformative power that can be accessed by everyone. It is our duty to find that place inside our heart that really wants to evolve and be dedicated wholeheartedly to that.
